2012 NEW 12V 300 LITRE SELECTA SPOT SPRAYER & BOOM
Silvan Australia has launched the new 300 litre capacity 12V Three Point Linkage Sprayer model. This sprayer is ideal for small tractor or mule and is designed for both boom and spot spraying, all within the one compact and convenient package.
Powered by a 12 volt, 20 litres a minute open flow pump with a regulator and gauge, this unit is the ideal linkage mounted sprayer to suit all popular smaller tractors or mule vehicles and will be equally useful when carried on a tractor carryall, or a truck or ute deck.
In addition to the Selecta high capacity 12 volt pump, that provides an easier to use solution than a PTO powered pump, the sprayer also includes numerous new design attributes.
Firstly the 300 litre capacity Polytuff tank that is UV stabilised for a long life, includes a sump For easy cleaning and has a slimline design.
The distinctive red slimline tank is also fixed within a long life corrosion resistant galvanized steel carry frame to ensure a long life with three point linkage, Category 1 pin attachments provided.
The Silvan Selecta K03A TPL Sprayer is designed for spot or boomless spraying and is supplied fitted with two Hypro boomless nozzles which enable up to ten metres of boomless spraying at around 15 litres per minute using the two nozzles, or as a spot spraying unit using just a single nozzle.
In addition to the 12 volt powered pump with a continuous duty rating at 45 psi, the unit includes two manual section valves for selection of boom or spot spraying, has a large 50 mesh suction filter and a graduated regulator and pressure gauge for control and agitation of the spray mixture.
In addition there is a remote power control box including the on/off function that enables the control of the spray application safely from the tractor or vehicle seat without the need to dismount.
Silvan Selecta spokesman Greg Everett says that the unit is supplied with a Spotjet spray gun with its own adjustable nozzle and six metres of hose for spot spraying.
“The Hypro Boomless nozzle set up can also be attached to the rear or the end of the steel frame and for boomless spraying it can also be configured for left or right single sided cover or up to ten metres of swath at fifteen litres per minute from two boomless nozzles.
“The smaller horsepower tractor sector has shown considerable growth with many units used by smaller acreage holders and local government or land management agencies.

Supplied with a twelve months manufacturer’s warranty the K03A unit has an indicative retail price of $2145.
